International Women’s Day is more than a date on the calendar—it’s a global call to action for gender equality, justice, and empowerment. At Raisely, we’re proud to support nonprofits that champion the rights, safety, and success of women and girls worldwide. Today, we’re celebrating nine incredible organisations using Raisely to power their International Women’s Day campaigns and create lasting change.

1. UN Women Aotearoa NZSupporting Gender Equality and Women’s Rights

A leader in advocating for women’s rights, UN Women Aotearoa NZ is committed to creating a more equal world. Their International Women’s Day initiatives fund life-changing programs that support the lives of women and girls in over 100 countries.

2. IWDAA Gender-Equal Future

The International Women’s Development Agency (IWDA) is tackling systemic injustice by funding feminist organisations working for equality in the Asia Pacific. Their IWD campaign is encouraging support for a gender-equal future.

3. LibertyEssential Service and Support

Liberty Domestic and Family Violence Services, directly supports women and children escaping domestic violence, offering them essential services and support networks. Your donation will support access to quality donated clothing, homewares and other essentials.

Women’s Legal Service Queensland provides free legal and social work support to women experiencing domestic violence. Their IWD appeal raises funds to ensure more women have access to the justice system.

5. Warrior Woman FoundationBreaking Barriers for Young Women

The Warrior Woman Foundation provides holistic evidence-based support programs for under-represented vulnerable young Australian women. Their IWD campaign encourages support for their mentoring and psycho-educational program, which provides connection, life skills education, and mental health support.

6. Dress for SuccessEmpowering Women to Step into the Workforce

Dress for Success Greater Philadelphia, supports unemployed and underemployed women on their path to success. Their mission is to help women achieve financial independence by providing professional attire, career support, and mentorship.

7. WAGECEnding Gender-Based Violence

The Women's and Girls’ Emergency Centre (WAGEC) provides crisis accommodation and essential support services for women and children escaping domestic violence. Their campaign this IWD is encouraging communities and supporters to be a part of the prevention movement to end gender-based violence in a generation.

8. Women's Community SheltersProviding Safe Refuge

Women’s Community Shelters work to establish crisis shelters and long-term support for women in need. Their IWD campaign is fundraising for a new shleter to keep women and children safe everyday, not just on International Women's Day.

9. The George InstituteDriving Women’s Health Research Forward

The George Institute for Global Health is leading research into women’s health, working to close the gender gap in medical research and ensure that women receive equitable healthcare. Their IWD campaign is funding critical projects that advance women's health worldwide.
