Nonprofits serve a remarkable diversity of causes, tackling some of the world’s most pressing challenges in ways that reflect their unique missions and communities. It’s one of the most inspiring aspects of the work we do at Raisely, and it’s a privilege to support them. At the same time, this diversity comes with the responsibility to ensure we uphold ethical standards while being thoughtful about the decisions we make around who we work with.
We are committed to serving the sector broadly, recognizing that organisations represent a wide range of missions and perspectives. Our focus is not on individual beliefs about which causes to support, but on creating meaningful impact by enabling nonprofits at scale. By welcoming and supporting a broad range of perspectives within our team and among the organisations we serve, we ensure our approach remains consistent, appropriate, and sustainable.
While we rely on local, state and federal regulations to guide the industry, we have a responsibility to ensure the tools we build are used in ways that align with universal ethical standards. This means we will not serve organisations involved in practices that are widely recognized as harmful or condemned. These include:
These practices are incompatible with who we are, and we will remain vigilant in ensuring these organisations do not use our platforms under the guise of having formed a nonprofit before regulators can act.
